I've always enjoyed creating things, understanding how they work, and finding ways to make them better.

My career began with a degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota, followed by work in Aerospace designing robotic manufacturing facilities and later in Information Technology designing cloud infrastructure systems.

Along the way, remodeling my own homes sparked a passion for architecture and interior design. That interest eventually grew into a successful custom home design business, creating extraordinary and distinctive estate homes throughout California, along with designs for wineries, restaurants, medical offices, and other commercial spaces.

Today, The Acrylic Gallery brings those experiences together in a new and exciting way.

After initially exploring designs using wood, I discovered acrylic and became fascinated by its possibilities. The brilliant colors, transparency, and interaction with light opened up an entirely new world of creative expression.

What I enjoy most is the entire process—from imagining an original design to figuring out how to engineer and build it. And even when a piece is finished, I'm already thinking about how I might refine the design or improve the way it's made.

Every table and wall art composition you see here is personally designed and handcrafted by me in my Palm Springs studio. My goal is simple: to create something distinctive, beautifully made, and full of color that you'll enjoy having in your home or workplace for years to come.

Thank you for your interest, Rick
